The Minister of Transport, Giannis Karousos, carried out on-site inspections on public transport for the observance of the hygiene and protection measures that must be observed due to the coronavirus.
In a post on Social Media, Mr. Karousos notes that in the morning he was with the person in charge of Public Transport and with supervisors of the Ministry at the transfer station in the Alhambra where they carried out checks for the observance of hygiene and protection measures in public transport.
At the same time, according to Mr. Karousos, it was checked whether the disinfection certificates are posted as well as whether the drivers comply with the provisions for the number of people boarding the buses according to their capacity.
Concluding, he noted that the controls will be continued by the competent members of the Ministry.
