The Omicron 2 sub-variant appeared in Cyprus.
According to information, through the process of sequencing and identification by specialized analyzes of the samples, 3 cases related to the Omicron 2 subtype have been identified so far.
It is noted that this sub-variant had been identified in the past as well.
The members of the TEU had been informed about the appearance of Omicron 2 in the previous days.
Sources from the Ministry of Health, however, are reassuring about the Omicron 2 variant.
