The installation of cameras on the roads is in the final stages, since the pilot phase begins in almost a month.

According to the Head of Road Safety of the Police Headquarters, George Mili, the installation of cameras is proceeding normally and without any problems.

"October 25 is the start date of the pilot phase, which includes the installation of four fixed devices in the traffic lights of Griva Digeni and Demosthenes Severis Avenue in Nicosia. At the same time, there will be four mobile light-marking devices that will operate based on the distribution by the private contractor, ie the company. We will not see a member of the Police holding the mobile device ", Mr. Milis explained, speaking on the show Protoselido.

He even pointed out that a short period of time will be given to the system and the drivers.

"There will be no complaints from drivers but remarks. "At a higher level, the date for the start of complaints will be decided," he said.
