The "episodes" in the serial "cameras in the Cypriot streets" have no end. After the thousands of fines that were issued and their challenge, a new headache comes to be loaded at the Ministry of Transport.

According to a publication of Phileleftheros, 11 thousand fines are problematic with the result that the management company requests their cancellation. According to the publication, these are fines in which the license plates of vehicles are not visible or the photos are not correct and in others the photos are not clear. There are even other cases involving escort vehicles, such as ambulances for example.

The article hosts statements by the Minister of Transport who clarified that until these issues are resolved we remain in the pilot phase until the end of June. He stressed that the company has not received "even a cent".

The Ministry requested explanations from the company regarding the 11 thousand problematic out-of-court settlements. Giannis Karousos also spoke about the mobile cameras which are often "camouflaged" with the result that they are not perceived by the drivers. The law stipulates that it is forbidden to hide the vehicles carrying the cameras and that is why it was decided to place special signals in the small vans.
