The 43-year-old was arrested yesterday by the Police in the context of the investigation of a case of vehicle arson that was committed on 22/3/2021 in Nicosia.
Specifically, around 00:20 on 22/3/2021, information was received by the Police, about a fire in three vehicles, which were parked in an open area opposite the home of their owners in Nicosia.
The fire, which was extinguished by the Fire Department, completely destroyed the three vehicles worth 8.000 euros, while damage was caused to two more adjacent vehicles.
Examinations revealed that this was a malicious act, while last night he was arrested with a court order and a 43-year-old woman was detained, to facilitate the investigations.
