Distance education instead of schools for a week

Teachers do not return to schools either

E Learning Session Help Coronavirus, Education

Following today's Government decisions on additional public health protection measures, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports and Youth has adapted the e-distance education development plan.

The Minister of Education, Culture, Sports and Youth has been authorized by the Council of Ministers to develop a program for educational needs for the period during which school attendance is suspended, with the aim, through the use of technology, to continue providing education to students of all levels.

Given the stricter protection measures required, the use of technological capabilities, currently being developed by the Ministry, is becoming even more important.

The relevant planning of YPPAN, observing all the protective measures for the staff that have been announced, starts on Tuesday, March 17, 2020.

Teachers of all levels, instead of the information that was planned to be done in the schools on Monday, March 16, 2020, will be notified and will receive relevant instructions from the Directorate of their school, from Tuesday, March 17, 2020.

The staff working at YPPAN will be informed about the new organization of the work in the central services of YPPAN and the protection provisions of those who face special health conditions or should be facilitated as parents, tomorrow Monday, March 16.

The Minister of Education will address the parents of the students with a relevant message that will be posted on the website of the Ministry of Education.
