As a representative of the communication department of the Police stated to KYPE, in the last 24 hours, which ended at 6:00 on Friday morning, 2.360 checks were carried out throughout free Cyprus.

In Nicosia were carried out 1.027 inspections and 7 complaints were made citizens and 1 estate, in Limassol were made 214 checks with 6 citizens being reported, in Larnaca were carried out 442 checks without complaints, in Paphos 1 premises and 3 citizens were reported following 134 controls, in Famagusta 6 complaints were made citizens after 333 controls and in its area There were 72 inspections in Morphou without complaints.

The Traffic Departments and the Port and Maritime Police carried out 108 and 30 checks respectively without any complaints.

According to the spokesman, the complaints concern a club in Nicosia which was punished by an out-of-court settlement fine of € 8.000, after visitors were found in excess of the permitted limit and there were no relevant signs and in Paphos, a fine of € 500 was imposed on a kiosk, the manager of which worked without a mask.
