Problems observed in relation to the permanent residence program in Cyprus are mentioned by the president of the Association of Major Developments and vice-president of the KEBE Andreas Dimitriadis, who requests that solutions be provided by the Ministry of the Interior.

According to Mr. Dimitriadis, based on the provisions of the Cypriot permanent residence program in Cyprus, it is provided that applicants from third countries in cases of investments of 300 thousand euros or more can obtain permanent residence within a period of two months.

However, he adds, "when someone goes out of their way to arrange a meeting to submit that application, it takes four to five months to set up a meeting with the relevant officer to submit their application."

According to him, it is a problem that is added to the other existing problems faced by the country's economy and this matter must be urgently solved by the Ministry of the Interior.
