The front page hosted the spokesman of the Ministry of Defense, Christos Pieris, who spoke about the attack that took place at a hooded outpost.
The hooded men were said to be holding bats and threatening a soldier.
He initially stated that the procedures provided in such cases had been activated. "As soon as he realized that the group of people was moving towards him, he immediately sounded the alarm and the members of the outpost took the right places."
He added that the perpetrators immediately fled as they saw the reaction of the outpost. "Immediately the chief constable notified his superiors, while a complaint was made to the Police."
Finally, he stated that the hooded men were riding in a rental vehicle and all the facts are being investigated by the Police.
