CYPRUS: This is the list of shame - Millions of loans from politicians have been written off

Any reference to the famous "Giorkatzi List" - A well-liked "theater" or an oath of silence from all politicians?

list 1 List of Yorkatzi

The list is not new. It has been circulating since 2013, mainly in Greek media. "Ethnos" revealed it in March 2013 and caused a "commotion" then in our country, but gradually it was forgotten and hidden in the drawers without taking appropriate action.

Eight years later, in a theater of the absurd that we saw last week unfolding in Parliament starring all (without exception) MPs, and after "I in jia jizo you go the list", the famous "Giorkatzi List" was published . It listed a small number of MPs, one or two ministers, several companies and several mayors (municipal councilors were not included) and immediately the Parliament had to brag that it "did the right thing" and the cleaning was imposed on the place. However, as it turns out, most of these loans are loans to politically exposed persons who have either been settled or are being serviced, while only a few are actually non-performing.

What the deputies did not do was to (actually) put the knife to the bone and bring to the surface the real list of shame with the politicians or parties in which millions of loans have been written off and which were then revealed by the Greek media.

Therefore, we bring to the surface the list of Politically Exposed Persons to whom millions of loans were granted, as published as it is by the newspaper "To Ethnos":

The question that arises is, eight whole years later, what are the real results of the three-member commission of inquiry then appointed by the Council of Ministers and whether they have a direct effect on persons who are known and continue to hold office, while the It is enough for the House of Representatives today to make impressive moves by publishing a list which it has been carrying and carrying for years, and which, in fact, is of little importance in the end.
