The car accident took place in the early hours of Tuesday, November 2, in the village of Livadia, Larnaca province.
According to the Police, a vehicle moving on Andrea Kalvou Street failed to stop at the ALT at the junction with Stadiou Street, moved in a straight line with the result that after cutting a stake with the Municipality's direction plates, it overturned in an off-road field.
The co-driver managed to go to a neighboring house and call for help.
Preliminary tests performed at the scene have shown that the driver of the vehicle did not wear a seat belt unlike the driver who wore his seat belt.
The Larnaca Traffic Branch continues the examinations.
