A coronavirus positive was found in a 17-day-old newborn and a 12-month-old infant, according to the Director of the Pediatric Clinic of Makareio Hospital, Abraham Elias.
According to him, a 12-month-old boy from Limassol, who is positive for the virus and developed a fever, is being treated in Makareio, with his health condition being good and stable.
The second case concerns a 17-day-old girl who is being transported from the Limassol General Hospital to Makareio.
And the little girl had a fever.
Both infants reportedly had HIV-positive individuals in their family environment.
