The first Cypriot to receive Sputnik V spoke on the show Protoselidos about their experience and the reasons why he decided to proceed with the administration of the vaccine against coronary.
Mr. Nikos Antoniadis, participated successfully in the voluntary vaccination and lives and works for the last 25 years in a large multinational company in Moscow.
"The vaccine was approved on August 11 and was announced by President Putin. I was one of the first to complete the application to participate in the research as a volunteer. I believed that this process should be done as soon as possible because the fate of millions of people depends on its results, but also the fact that I work in a multinational company where we meet a lot of people and travel often, were important reasons ", explained Mr. Antoniadis.
He added that he wanted to set the example so that others could proceed with the vaccination.
"I am currently receiving both doses of the vaccine. "They received the first dose on October 4 and after 21 days I received the second dose," he said.
Asked if he had any symptoms, Mr. Antoniadis said that after each dose for 1-2 days he had some weakness. According to him, according to the statistics, only 15% had effects such as nausea and dizziness.
