The relaxations that come from tomorrow - End to the curfew

In the meantime, from tomorrow, the limit of 50% physical presence in private companies and departments / organizations of the public and wider public sector will be lifted.

In addition, from June 10 to June 30, weddings / dinners, weddings and christenings may be held in restaurants or hotel establishments or other event halls, in accordance with sanitary protocol.

Specifically, weddings / dinners will be allowed for weddings and christenings for 200 people indoors or 350 people outdoors for lunch or dinner. The reception / cocktail party with 250 people will be allowed at any time only outdoors.

In cases of weddings / dinners and christenings in homes, proof of marriage / christening (eg invitation) should be provided, as well as the available square footage of the house, in order to determine the maximum number of attendees according to the relevant protocol .

Data should be sent electronically to althhealthservices@mphs.moh.gov.cy for approval.

A prerequisite for those attending the event is the presentation of SafePass.

In addition, from Thursday, public festivals will be allowed to be held in churches according to the protocols applicable to public markets, while the reopening of camps and other similar landscaped areas, summer schools and children's camps will also be allowed from June 16.

In the meantime, from 1 June, the presence of persons with a maximum number of 20 persons, including permanent residents and minors, the physical presence of persons indoors, such as religious places of worship, casinos, conference and commercial premises, is permitted. exhibitions, theaters, amphitheaters and other performing arts venues is set at 50% of the capacity of each venue.

It is also noted that from June 1, the interiors of the catering businesses reopened, based on the health protocol.
