The Limassol Criminal Court imposed a 20-year prison sentence today against a 30-year-old and a 21-year-old, in connection with the murder case of 44-year-old Christos Michael, who was found dead in a field in Polemidia, on January 14, 2019.
The two brothers had pleaded guilty to the charge of homicide, while they had been acquitted of the charge of premeditated murder.
The 44-year-old was found dead in his car, with gunshot wounds (DOKO), in the area of the neck and right chest.
After interrogations, the Police proceeded to arrest three brothers, then 28, 19 and 16 years old, with the first two admitting involvement, stating that their motive was robbery.
