Additional date for submission of applications for participation in the Special March Plans

The Ministry of Labor, Welfare and Social Insurance announces that on Thursday, May 20, 2021 the interested parties who did not submit electronic applications for participation in the Special Plans for the period from 1η March until 31η March 2021 will have a second chance to apply online for the following Special Schemes:

  1. Special Plan for Complete Suspension of the Company's Operations (ESA Application.3).
  2. Special Plan for Partial Suspension of the Company's Operations (ESA Application.4) (it is necessary to submit a Certified Public Accountant Report)
  3. Special Plan of Economic Activities Related to the Tourism Industry or Economic Activities Affected by Tourism (Application EEA.10 or EEA.11) (submission of a Certified Public Accountant Report is required)
  4. Special Plan for Certain Categories of Independent Employees (ESA Application.5) (for self-employed persons who fall into category "9" of paragraph 3 (c) of the Terms and Conditions of the relevant Decision, it is necessary to submit a Certified Public Accountant Report).

It is noted that, for the Special Plans where it is necessary along with the relevant application to submit a Certified Public Accountant Report, where the Report will not be submitted, the application will not be accepted.

Simultaneously with the submission of their application for the period in question, a one-time sponsorship will be paid for companies and self-employed workers who suspended their operation during the period from 1η up to 15η March 2021 based on the relevant Decree of the Ministry of Health to cover the operating expenses March 2021 provided that the application is approved and that they carry out one of the following economic activities:

(a) Food industry (restaurants, cafes, bars, breweries and similar enterprises).

(b) Dance schools and gyms.

(c) Organizers of conferences and trade fairs.

(d) Performing arts including their supporting activities.

(e) Amusement parks and other theme parks and playgrounds.

(f) Other entertainment activities.

(g) Theaters and cinemas.

(h) Photographers.

(i) Taxi drivers and

(j) Tourism related companies.
