The points discussed in the Advocate General's opinion to the Health Insurance Organization, in relation to the Organization's agreements with the private hospitals, which have joined the GESS, focused on Wednesday the scheduled meeting of the Minister of Health, Michalis Hadjipandella, with Board of Directors of the Organization, the Executive Director and the members of the management team of OAY.

In a statement, the Ministry of Health states that during the meeting were discussed suggestions submitted by both the Minister and the OAU, while noting that the Health Insurance Organization agreed to review the suggestions of Mr. Hadjipandella and to return in the coming days.

In addition, there was a discussion on the serious issue of serving the citizens in the TAEP.

The Minister of Health conveyed his findings, after visits to the TAEP of OKYPY hospitals, pointing out that everyone needs to bow to the problems in order to find solutions as soon as possible.

For his part, OAY informed the competent Minister that a meeting with OKYPY is planned, where possible solutions will be worked out.

According to the Ministry of Health, "if and when intervention is needed to promote solutions faster, the Ministry of Health is at the disposal of the two Organizations to provide any assistance."
