PSEM announced to the media on Monday the announcement of the Secretariat of the Organization with which it invites the students of secondary education to abstain from all-day classes on Wednesday, February 5th.

The statement said that the decision was taken after the general result of the referendum on January 29 in favor of the escalation of measures against the exams every four months and added that "we have an obligation to announce how the will of the majority of students is implemented."

The announcement states, among other things, that for the past three years the organized student movement has been expressing its firm position against the examinations every four months, with referendums, signature collection, congressional resolutions and large participation in mobilizations outside Parliament, the Ministry Of Education and the Presidential Palace.

PSEM adds that "the need to escalate the measures arises due to the absence of substantive dialogue and the degradation of the role of the student movement by the Ministry of Education."

She also refers to the meeting she had with the Minister of Education in which, she continues, she orally conveyed her position and suggestions on how to evaluate the student.

He adds that "the Minister listened to our positions and assured that he would invite us to a dialogue within January to submit proposals with the other bodies, but the Minister not only did not invite us but in several public statements in January stated that he would "Dialogue with all stakeholders, both parents and teachers, ignoring the student movement, ignoring that the students most directly involved in this process are the students."
