Paphos Police is investigating a case of conspiracy to overthrow the course of justice, destruction of evidence, failure to wear the clothes of a hunter, against the 47-year-old.
According to the Police, the 47-year-old on 2.12.20 at 09:00 was in the area of Akamas for hunting together with two other two people.
The 47-year-old came into conflict with other hunters, among whom was the Paphos Police Director, and one of those who was with the 47-year-old allegedly fired in the air. After further investigations, the Police proceeded to arrest the 47-year-old owner of the vehicle with which he and the other two persons left the area.
The 47-year-old interrogator denies involvement in the case, does not cooperate with the investigating authorities, while he allegedly hid details of the weapon from which the shot was fired and the details of the two other persons who were with him.
Two more people are wanted in the case. The examinations are continued by the Paphos Police Department in cooperation with the Polis Chrysochous police station.
