Forty products posing a risk to consumer health and safety were identified in the markets of various European Union member states and then reported to the RAPEX Safety Gate System last week, according to the Consumer Protection Service.
A Communication from the Agency, transmitted by the GIS, states that consumers can be informed about dangerous products in the by clicking here of at the address www.consumer.gov.cy.
The products related to the Consumer Protection Service as well as the corresponding risks are described in the table follows.
The Consumer Protection Service invites importers, distributors, sellers who may have such products to immediately stop their availability and notify the Service.
It also calls on consumers, if they own the above products, to stop using them and return them to the seller, ie the store from which they have purchased them and at the same time to inform it.
