An 18-year-old is being treated in critical condition in the ICU of the General Hospital of Nicosia, after being injured in a road collision that occurred yesterday afternoon.
Specifically, according to a police announcement, around 6.30 p.m. Yesterday, while the 18-year-old was driving his car in Cherry towards Marki, having as co-driver an 18-year-old, under conditions under investigation, he lost control of the vehicle, as a result of which it overturned in an adjacent field.
As a result of the collision, both occupants of the vehicle were injured and transported by ambulance to the General Hospital of Nicosia. The 18-year-old driver was kept for treatment in the Intensive Care Unit as a multi-injured person and his health condition is judged by the treating doctors as critical. The 18-year-old co-driver, after receiving first aid, was fired.
