Andreas Dimitriou, Cardiologist / Pathologist, spoke about the difficult adventure he experienced when he fell ill with COVID19 on SIGMA's show "Mesimeri kai Kati".
As he narrated, the first symptoms appeared on March 17 while on the 25th of the same month, he was admitted to the Hospital.
He noted that he had a very serious illness with symptoms such as headache, cough, extreme tiredness, fever, diarrhea and confusion.
As he said, he faced many serious problems due to the disease.
"At some point and then I thought I would not make it, I was scared. "I got to the point where I could not do it," he said characteristically.
He explained that because of the disease he suffered from the syndrome of cytokine storm, where the immune system is activated and self-destructive.
It had caused me huge damage to my liver, kidneys and brain, he said.
"I escaped because there was a storm of prayers for me, I am with you now because my spiritual father and everyone prayed. I live by a miracle and I am here with you by a miracle ".
It is, he said, a very serious illness and it is not the flu that some say.
The doctor called on the citizens to be vaccinated as only with the vaccine can the course of the virus be stopped.
