Mystery continues to cover the conditions under which the dead newborn was found today in the garbage of the Integrated Waste Management Facility (OEDA) of Pentakomo, while his autopsy is expected to take place next Monday.
As stated by the head of TAE Limassol, Lefteris Kyriakou, "today and around noon we were informed that in the OEDA Unit in Pentakomo, during the sorting of garbage, a bag was found in the belt, in which there was a newborn".
"Immediately an officer and members of the TAE went to the scene and medical examiners were called, while the examinations revealed that it was a complete male newborn with umbilical cord and placenta", he added.
Specifically, the four medical examiners of the Republic, Sophocles Sophocles, Nicholas Charalambous, Angeliki Papetta and an Orthodox Orthodox, went on stage.
The autopsy scheduled for next Monday is expected to provide some information about the case.
