The snowfall continues on the higher fringes and Troodos put on its white for good.
The Department of Forests with its post at noon on the 20th of December shows us the work of the fire trucks which were turned into snowplows.
"With firefighting vehicles that are converted into snowplows, we perform our duty which does not stop in dealing with forest fires. An example of the social work and the offer of the Department of Forests is the opening of the roads in Troodos.
"The public traveling in these areas is urged to be very careful, to use appropriate vehicles and to faithfully follow the instructions of the Traffic Police", the relevant post states.
