A bus on the Limassol-Nicosia highway was engulfed in flames near the Kofinou exit.
The left lane of the Nicosia - Limassol highway is closed, in the direction of Limassol, at a point just before the exit to Kofinou, at the height of Kakoratzia forest, due to a fire that broke out on a bus, around 12.00 noon. The right-hand lane, which had also been temporarily closed, is now open to traffic.
The occupants of the bus got out and got out of the vehicle in time safely, while members of the Police and the Fire Service are at the scene to put out the fire.
