A new circular is published by the Holy Archdiocese of Cyprus on the occasion of the new upsurge that is observed.

The circular itself:

We are watching with particular concern the aggravated epidemiological picture that Cyprus has been presenting in recent weeks. At a time when we all believed that the coordinated decisions and actions of the Government_, the Ministry of Health and the team of scientists, the commendable heroic struggle of doctors and nurses and of course the wonderful willingness and cooperation of our people eradicated coronary heart disease, In recent days, unfortunately, it has recovered more fiercely and fiercely.

In these difficult times when our country is facing the growing Turkish threats and intrigues with the effort to impose new ones in Famagusta especially and in the Cyprus issue in general we do not have the luxury of losing human lives or suffering unimaginably due to our inhumanity. compliance with the necessary measures for protection against the disease.

In particular, on the issue of vaccination, we explicitly recall the decision of the Holy Synod dated 1/12/2020, during which, after being informed by all scientists about all the issues of the pandemic, we stressed: the subject and after listening carefully to the expert scientists he called for, he decided to recommend to the faithful to be vaccinated, if the specific vaccine is recommended by the competent 'State Health Services. It is not possible for us to attribute any kind of interest to the medical health services of the State, except their concern for the health of the people ".
