Cypriot Hellenism honors the 55th Independence of the KD

Cypriot Hellenism today celebrates the 55th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Cyprus.

The parade was greeted by the President of the Republic, Nikos Anastasiadis, accompanied by the Minister of Defense, Christoforos Fokaidis and the Chief of the National Guard, Lieutenant General George Basiakoulis, in the presence of politics, religion, military leadership and many people.

On the occasion of the anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Cyprus, the President of the Republic Mr. Nikos Anastasiadis, accompanied by the members of the Council of Ministers, went this morning to the Prisoners of Remembrance, where a trisagion was performed.
