The revival of the camps of Agios Antonios of the Catechism Meetings of the Savior had the opportunity to experience the young people of the Savior, who are going to join the ranks of the National Guard next summer.
The camp, which took place on Friday and Saturday (April 17-18), was co-organized by the Sotiras Catholic Congregations and the Sotira Community Police. It is worth noting that the Head of Community Policing Sotiras, Mr. Giannos Asprou spent the night with the young people in the camp together with the deacon Konstantinos Germanos and the people in charge, Iakovos Koumis and Giannos Papageorgiou.
On Friday afternoon, the young campers had the opportunity to take part in a hike that ended up in a nearby private zoo. They also taught basic principles of living in the countryside.
Friday's dinner was attended by the priests of Sotira, members of the Sotiras Reserve Paratroopers Club and other citizens who willingly responded to the organization of the camp. All the needs and supplies of the camp were covered by non-profit offers of citizens of the Savior.
The event was part of the celebrations for the 60th anniversary of the founding of the Savior Catechism Meetings.
