Speaking also on Tuesday, the Minister of Education, Costas Kadis, spoke about an opportunity that some were looking for in order to express themselves with maximum populism.
Mr. Kadis admitted that some people who were in charge of implementing the examination procedures did not work properly.
Referring to the complaints of Akel MP George Georgiou, the Minister of Education clarified that it constitutes a criminal offense, for the subject, if his wife participated in the examination process.
He noted, however, that the complaints to the Auditor General by a group of interested parties have been investigated and are not valid.
Concluding, Costas Kadis said that he recognizes the political responsibilities that belong to him after the turn of events and noted that his resignation is at the disposal of the President of the Republic.
