The latest developments in the Cyprus issue and bilateral relations, with emphasis on energy and defense issues, are at the center of the talks between the President of the Republic Nikos Anastasiadis and his French counterpart Emanuel Macron in Paris.

Euro-Turkish and regional issues are also discussed at the meeting.
In the morning, President Anastasiadis visited the Louvre Museum and was guided to the wing of the Cypriot antiquities. The Cypriot collection exhibits objects, including Neolithic and Bronze Age.
Also on display is the giant jar of Amathus, which dates from the 6th century BC. It is made of limestone and is considered by archaeologists as unique in the world, due to the way it is built and its size.
Earlier today, President Anastasiadis gave an interview to the French newspaper "Le Figaro", with the main topic being energy. The interview will be published in tomorrow's edition of the newspaper.
