In a statement, the General Commissioner of Elections stressed that all appropriate measures are being taken to ensure the secrecy of the voters' vote, in order to hold fair and objective elections.

Voters, he says, must check and make sure that the ballot paper given to them at the polling station to vote is properly sealed. Every ballot must have an official stamp on the outside to be valid.

"Voters, after receiving their ballot, must enter the polling booths and exercise their right to vote behind the curtain. In this way, the secrecy of their vote is fully ensured, since their entry and every movement will be controlled, in a way that avoids any possibility for them to be influenced by any person ", it is added.

Therefore, he says, voters need to be confident that under no circumstances can their identities be verified, nor is it possible for any person to cast their ballots afterwards.
