The uproar and the public controversy continue in high tones, for the leak of exam papers for the list of teacher appointments.
The Minister of Education, Costas Kadis, informed the competent parliamentary Committee this morning about the issue that arose.
Speaking to the committee, Mr. Kadis assured that the Ministry of Education will investigate AKEL's complaint that the spouse of the examiner for appointment in public education, participated in the process.
Mr. Kadis informed the education committee about the manipulations of the Ministry in relation to the publication of the subjects of the examinations before they are carried out.
Speaking earlier in the third, Mr. Kadis said that it constitutes a criminal offense, for the subject, if his wife participated in the examination process.
In statements after the session, the head of the Examination Service of the Ministry of Education, Terpsa Konstantinidou, said that the Minister himself had requested that the Education Committee be convened to inform her about this serious issue.
Ms. Konstantinidou said that it was not a leak, but the publication of the exam papers on the website of the Ministry of Education before the start of the exams and only on that day, November XNUMXth.
He added that a mistake was made, in violation of the instructions given and the measures taken and this is being investigated.
Ms. Konstantinidou reiterated the decision of the Ministry of Education to conduct the specific examinations on November 17 and 18. He pointed out that there will be some differences in the group of subjects and that completely different essays will be prepared, which will be made public after the exams.
