We may be used to making smartphones, tablets, computers and software development, but as it turns out, Apple plans to pleasantly surprise us once again.

According to an article in the Wall Street Journal, the Cupertino giant is preparing to enter the automotive industry with its latest venture being the construction of an electric minivan. Tim Cook has been approving the project (codenamed Titan) since last year and currently around 1000 people are working on the car, led by former Ford engineer Steve Zadesky, and of course under the absolute secrecy of Apple.

In fact, the rumors are reinforced by the inclusion of the former president and CEO of Mercedes-Benz R&D, Johann Jungwirth, in the staff of Apple on Friday, but also the recent presence of a mysterious minivan of the company on the streets of San Francisco.

We look forward to more information on Apple's new highly interesting project ενδιαφέρον
