With the Kodiaq, Skoda begins a dynamic course in the world of SUVs. The Kodiaq, which was recently presented at the international showrooms and is soon expected in Cyprus, offers extremely large spaces, quality and cutting-edge technology. At 4,7 meters long, the model offers unique practicality features. This is proved by the capacity of the trunk that starts from 720 and reaches up to 2.065 liters, while with the folding of the seats, objects up to 2,8 meters long can be accommodated.

Its features include the optional choice of an electric door in the luggage compartment, the ability to tow 2,5 tons in the four-wheel drive version TDI 2.0 with the DSG gearbox and equipment that includes three options for entertainment and information system.

The prospective buyer will have a variety of options. Basic version is the TSI 1,4 liter engine with 125 hp and 200 Nm of torque, while the same engine is available in a more powerful version with 150 hp and 250 Nm of torque. Then there is the two-liter TSI with 180 hp and 320 Nm of torque. The diesel engines have the 2,0 liter TDI with 150 and 190 horsepower. Depending on the engine, the Kodiaq is available in two-wheel drive or four-wheel drive versions in combination with a six-speed manual transmission or a six- or seven-speed dual-clutch semi-automatic. Finally, in terms of equipment, Kodiaq offers similar options to the Superperb, including in its equipment elements such as active cruise control, driver alert system in case of deviation from its course in combination with automatic braking system. In addition, the seven-seater SUV has a perimeter vision system consisting of cameras mounted on the front, rear and mirrors, which is a first for Skoda.

Before launching well in the various markets, Kodiaq began to garner significant international awards. In the prestigious Top Gear magazine, the British voted the Skoda Kodiaq as the best car for large families. Kodiag also won the "Big SUV" award at Best Cars from What Car?
