In Athens, Holgin - Sees Mitsotakis and Gerapetritis

The UN Secretary General's Personal Envoy for Cyprus Maria Angela Holguin Queillar will have meetings with the Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and the Greek Minister of Foreign Affairs Giorgos Gerapetritis today, Tuesday, February 6, in Athens.

The meeting with the Greek Minister of Foreign Affairs is scheduled for 10 am, while two hours later, at 12 pm, Mrs. Holgin will go to the Maximos Palace, where she will be received by the Greek Prime Minister.

According to diplomatic sources, the Greek government is expected to repeat Greece's fixed position on the need to restart the talks and to resolve the Cyprus issue based on the resolutions of the UN Security Council, within the framework of the bi-zonal bi-communal federation.
