The B-Class at the end of 2011 was the first Mercedes-Benz model to be unveiled on the company's new front-wheel drive platform. Today, after 3 years on the market and with 350.000 sales, the B-Class is the first to be renewed. This is not something "shocking" aesthetically, nor something technically new. Only this: With 8 options in engines and 3 in equipment, with electric & gas version, with 4Matic or not, the renewed Mercedes-Benz B-Class will be available from November 29, more complete than ever.
Exterior changes focus on the new headlights back and forth, with the latter now LED, while optionally equipped with high-efficiency LED headlights (excluding the B-Class Electric & Natural Gas Drive versions). Both bumpers are new, while the grille and exhaust tailpipes are slightly redesigned.
The interior has been upgraded with decoration and quality, the redesigned instrument panel is also beautiful, as well as the new lighting with 12 shades. Highlight is the new 8-inch screen that stands "arched" over the center console.
Style, Urban and AMG Line, are called the 3 new versions, in order to indicate the "wealth" of each, while the NightPackage, Exclusive package and AMG Exclusive package will be offered, with more interior personalization options.
In the renewed B-Class, the basic version is the B 160 CDI with 1.5 diesel of 90 hp, consumption of 4,0 l / 100 km and CO2 emissions of 104 g / km. The same engine "wears" the B 180 CDI, but with 109 horsepower. The total of 2,2 liters. "Hidden" behind the B 200 CDI and B 220 CDI, with power ranging from 136 to 177 hp.
At the base of the petrol range, a total of 1,6 liters is placed. of the B 180 & B 200 versions, whose power is 122 and 156 hp respectively. The 2 liters B 220 and B 250 have 184 and 211 horsepower respectively, with the first having a 4-wheel drive version.
