The Executive Boards of SYXKA-PEO and UXEKA-SEK, consider that the difference between the Guilds and the employers' organizations regarding the implementation of the Collective Agreement in the Hotel Industry remains and therefore have decided to convene a joint Board of Directors Council on March 9, with a suggestion to put the industry on strike.
According to an announcement by PEO, yesterday the Executive Boards of the two unions met in an extraordinary session and discussed the difference that arose regarding the implementation of the Collective Agreement in the Hotel Industry after the meeting of the two parties with the Minister of Labor last Friday.
"We hope that by March 9 we will have the correct interpretation of the disputed points by the Minister of Labor, in order to avoid the disturbance of the labor peace in the hotel industry", the announcement concludes.
