The Ministry of Health informs that according to the planning, the vaccination plan with the following ages will proceed, as is already the case, while for the older ages the opportunity will be given on a regular basis, with advance announcements, to age groups to schedule the appointment. if they have not done so.
It is clarified that the reason for following this practice, apart from the technical issue that arose, is to develop the vaccination coverage of the population and to give the opportunity at younger ages to proceed with vaccination.
At the same time, it is taken into account that older people already had several opportunities to arrange appointments. For example, a 70-year-old had the opportunity 5 times to schedule appointments as a matter of priority with his age group, then with 69+, 67+, 66+, 64+ and 61+.
Therefore, it is noted, the citizens who have access to the Portal as a priority in each case, are encouraged to plan their vaccination with the available vaccines. Delay in vaccination coverage means delay in our return to normalcy.
