Ingredients for 4 people
- 1 package of sausages for hot dog
- 2 cups flour for all uses
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 / 2-1 cup sour milk
- 1 egg
- corn starch for coating
- 10 wooden straws for souvlaki
- Sunflower oil for frying
Implementation
- Preheat the sunflower oil in a large saucepan to 180 degrees. Cut the sausages in half and pass them through the sticks.
- In a large bowl, mix the flour, salt, baking powder and sugar and mix until incorporated. Add 1/2 cup sour milk and 1 egg and stir to mix well.
- The dough must be viscous. If it is too much, however, add a little more milk.
- Put some corn starch on a plate, dip each sausage and fry them immediately, turning several times to brown evenly. Serve optionally with ketchup.
