Corn dogs in the pan

Ingredients for 4 people

  • 1 package of sausages for hot dog
  • 2 cups flour for all uses
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 / 2-1 cup sour milk
  • 1 egg
  • corn starch for coating
  • 10 wooden straws for souvlaki
  • Sunflower oil for frying

Implementation

  1. Preheat the sunflower oil in a large saucepan to 180 degrees. Cut the sausages in half and pass them through the sticks.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the flour, salt, baking powder and sugar and mix until incorporated. Add 1/2 cup sour milk and 1 egg and stir to mix well.
  3. The dough must be viscous. If it is too much, however, add a little more milk.
  4. Put some corn starch on a plate, dip each sausage and fry them immediately, turning several times to brown evenly. Serve optionally with ketchup.
