Danish police issued a notice asking for the help of citizens
Danish police have issued a warning following the disappearance of a kangaroo, asking for the help of citizens in its search for him. According to Jutland police in southern Denmark, the wallet, a wallaby kangaroo, escaped from a private residence in Reading.
"He escaped from a private residence on Saturday night at around 20.00pm," police spokesman Henrik Senderskov told TV2. "If one sees a kangaroo circulating freely, there is a good chance it is what escaped," he added.
Police even posted a statement on twitter stating: "If you think you saw a kangaroo around the Øster Linnet area of R περιοχήdding, that may be enough. We are looking for a wallaby kangaroo that belonged to a private individual and escaped from a house in the Øster LIndet area ".
This is not the first time a kangaroo has escaped to this part of Denmark, which is located almost 80 kilometers north of the German border. In July 2018, an animal had been missing for more than half a day before being finally found by its owner.
