A fire broke out at 10:42 on Saturday morning in an apartment in Geri.
According to the Fire Department Spokeswoman, Andrea Ketti, the fire was caused by a lighted candle.
The owner of the apartment tried to put out the fire with a blanket, however, she inhaled smoke and was picked up by the ambulance.
The fire was extinguished by a neighbor. Small equipment in a room in the apartment was damaged.
The Fire Brigade carried out ventilation and inspection.
