Italian Minister of Ecological Transition Roberto Tsingolani announced today that the Draghi government will temporarily reduce fuel taxes.
This is a "fluctuating reduction", which will be linked to the economic situation, due to developments in Ukraine and recent price increases.
The Italian minister added that this move is made possible thanks to the increased revenue of the Ministry of Finance of Rome from VAT revenues.
According to initial calculations, in a first phase the price of gasoline in Italy is expected to fall by 10 to 15 cents per liter.
