The Holy Metropolis of Constantia and Famagusta announces that the 4th consecutive lecture of the Salaminios Free University of Famagusta will take place next Thursday, March 14, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. in the old church of Agios Georgios in Paralimni.
The general theme of the lecture is entitled "50 years since the Cyprus tragedy of 1974 - Challenges and Prospects".
The presenters will be Lieutenant General e.a. Demokritos Zervakis, former Chief of the National Guard who will develop the theme 1974: Forgotten Heroes and Mr. Haris Alexandrou, Ph.D. in Modern and Modern History, University of Cyprus whose presentation is entitled Writing Historiography in 1974, 50 years later.
