On the occasion of the completion of 100 years since the construction of the house of the Ethnographic Museum of Avgorou and also the 10 years of activity of the Theater Group of the Creators, the group in cooperation with the Community Council of Avgorou will carry out a celebratory three-day event.
First action: July 7: Theatrical action "Mother of the world on the earth".
A complex event based on the human life cycle and the crop cycle. Through various verses of folk poets, traditional music and dramatized scenes, we will briefly see the everyday life of people in the 20's.

Second action: July 8: Theatrical performance "Spanos jai os sarada Dratzoi".
It is about the well-known Cypriot fairy tale through the eyes of the animator of the children's/adolescent section of the group, Dimitris Antoniou. A story of ancient times, which brings us face to face with the "dragons" of today.

Third action: July 9: The day is dedicated to music.
We start with skating from the XNUMXst Primary School of Avgorou. Musicians, dancers and anyone else who wishes can participate in the musical parade-painting through the streets of the village. The first stop will be at the Tsibouri house with the thematic unit the islands. Dances from the Cultural Workshop of Saints Confessors will be presented.
We continue with a second stop at the old church of Ai Giorki in the village square with thematic unit Cyprus, where the community choir will undertake a 15-minute program and offer Cypriot treats.
The musical tour will end at the Ethnographic Museum at 19:30, where various traditional groups will be presented with music from the wider Greek and Cypriot area.
It will be followed by a celebration with the shape of SANDUTO.
