The "Romeosyni" Cultural Association organizes the seminar entitled "To tell you plainly", the subject of which is the music-making discourse in the Cypriot tradition. The presenters of the seminar are Kyriakos Markoullis and Andreas Siantanis. The seminar is divided into two parts:
In the first part, various issues of music and lyrics will be presented, both from modern sources and from the last century. The focus of the discussion will be the richness of the lyrical plot as well as the musical "investment" of a ts̆iatist.
In the second part, the seminar goes from theory to practice in order to create music and speech, through the use of the tools and knowledge that will have been discussed in the first part.
The seminar is aimed at people who, either to a small or to a large extent, have been involved in poetry and/or music, amateurishly or professionally.
