THOK presents for the first time in Cyprus the enjoyable comedy "Mistero Buffo", by the Nobel Prize-winning Italian writer and actor Dario Fo. It is a modular text with successive comic sketches, based on the tradition of itinerant theaters and drawing their themes from medieval religious works. Fo satirizes with sensitivity and humor the daily life of ordinary people and comments on the exploitation of the innocence of the faithful by the Catholic clergy.
The comedy is presented under the direction of Costas Gakis, who is known to the Cypriot public from the play "Romeo and Juliet for 2". A group of young and very talented actors take part in a show full of energy, fun, emotion and transformations, which makes the theater look like a big celebration.
