Doretta and Danos present the Time Out Eating Awards
Cyprus' largest gastronomic institution, the Time Out Eating Awards, is celebrating 13 years this year and is being organized for another year to reward the island's top restaurants.
The awards are presented by Nespresso.
Time Out magazine, the first entertainment guide in Cyprus, organizes the awards in order to upgrade the quality of domestic gastronomy, but also to reward the remarkable efforts. After all, knowledge and 13 years of experience make the Time Out Eating Awards the only institution in Cyprus that can proudly say that it knows how to focus on the island. The Time Out Eating Awards is an international institution and is organized by almost all Time Outs around the world. Time Out bears great responsibility and consistency for its readers and restaurant owners, owners and chefs, who seek to stand out in the highly competitive dining space.

The glamorous award ceremony will take place tomorrow, Tuesday, November 28, 2017, at the Royal Hall in Nicosia, with presenters Doretta Papadimitriou and George Angelopoulos!
The menu of the evening will be curated for the guests by the award-winning Cypriot Chef Christoforos Peskias.
The categories are 10 and are as follows: New Arrival (restaurants that opened from May 2016 to May 2017), Fish, International Kitchen, Hotel Restaurant (restaurants that operate within a hotel unit and are excluded from other categories), Bar / Restaurant, Tavern, Souvlaki, Nice Price (restaurants that serve quality food at an affordable price), Mediterranean Kitchen, as well as Best Beer Place by KEO (the place where you can successfully combine the right dish with your beer). As every year, this year the restaurant will be awarded, which will collect the most votes from the readers of Time Out as "The favorite of the readers" and is independent of categorization.
Each restaurant in each category, in order to be a candidate, must ensure high quality and achieve continuous improvement of its services. Based on the quality of the food, the presentation of the dishes, the hygiene, the atmosphere inside and outside the restaurant, the flow of the dishes, the proper service, the wine list and the product-price ratio, the final choice of restaurants in each category is made. The candidate restaurants are 72 and were selected by a multi-member, special committee set up by Time Out, which consisted of connoisseurs of gastronomy specializing in catering. The selection process is based on international criteria and standards of Time Out International.
As every year, this year will be given honorary awards at the restaurant with the Best Wine Cava, the Chef of the Year, and the Cypriot Product of the Year.
