"We placed a little girl on a pentacle, slaughtered a cat and bathed the child in her blood. "Since then we have begun to worship Satan." This is how Luis Lamonica began the storytelling of the horror story.
The small community of the town of Pontsatula was proud of the fact that it had so many churches. Probably more than could be attributed to each resident. THE American province and especially that in the South, is characterized by its deep faith while the inhabitants themselves considered that its Christian values are "unshakable".
Hosanna Church was the most popular in the 70s. In its heyday the flock numbered close to 1.000 members. Pastor Lamonika was among the most beloved figures in the area. After 30 years at the helm of the Church he was succeeded by his son, Lamonica Jr. He, on the other hand, was not a loved one.
The flock was dramatically reduced to… 15 individuals.
The horror experienced by the children began to be revealed after an anonymous phone call to the Sheriff's office. After investigations began to determine whether the anonymous phone call had any basis or not, Lamonika was pressured.
So he decided to speak to the police on his own. The small town was not ready to handle the shocking details.
On the second floor of the church there was a small room which they called "the room of the young"… As Lamonika described the walls and windows were covered with black cardboard and a pentacle was painted on the floor. On the pentacle was a little girl covered in cat blood. There were five other people standing around: the girl's father, Austin Bernard, 36, Lamonica's wife, Robin, Paul Fontenot, 21, Sheriff Chris Lampat, 24, and Patricia Pearson, 56.
According to the descriptions "everyone drank from the cat's blood". More than 25 children, boys and girls, were raped in the middle satanic rituals within 4 years. The ceremonies took place every two months and were usually of a more sexual nature. The sect's menu also included animal slaughter and animal slaughter.

The latter's wife was revealed to be the one who called the sheriff in the spring of 2005. Vice in a mini-documentary presented almost all aspects of the case.
At the trial that followed, various jokes were heard, including that Lamonika had been brainwashed by a 54-year-old preacher who had persuaded him to "expose his sins". The former pastor annulled his initial testimony and pleaded not guilty. Something that his sons did, thus reinforcing the drama experienced by an entire society.
The court was not convinced by the defendants. Lamonica was sentenced four times to life in prison for sexually abusing his sons. Bernard was sentenced to three life sentences for raping his daughter and Lamonica's sons.
