The video in which a 27-year-old substitute teacher has been recorded beating a student, who had reportedly called him a racist earlier, has caused a sensation in the US.
The video shows Requon Smith throwing the student to the ground, punching and slapping him at Valley High School in Las Vegas last Tuesday.

According to information, the student allegedly called the teacher "negro", resulting in his outburst.
After the videos were made public, police arrested both the teacher and the student, with local police confirming that the deputy teacher was removed from his post and is now banned from teaching in the area.
According to the same information, the student is being treated at a local hospital and is recovering after the attack.
The 27-year-old teacher is charged with, among other things, battery causing substantial injury to a student and is being held on $9.000 bail with his trial scheduled for today, Friday.
