ImageHandler 1 Human, Thank you

Thank you is a word that contains: love, kindness, humility and gratitude. Unfortunately, in recent years, thank you has started to sound like a word of luxury, but apparently not for Cypriots.

We asked 100 Cypriots to tell us how often they say thank you.

40% told us that they always say thank you, 24% very often, 20% rarely and 16% do not remember when they said thank you last time. Also, from the research we found that young people (18-25) say less or rarely thank you.

Most people think that there are two major categories of people in our society. In the first are those who take everything for granted and have forgotten what appreciation and gratitude means. In the other are those who do not take anything for granted and know that nothing is given away. They appreciate the slightest help and always say thank you.

"Feeling grateful and not saying it is like wrapping a gift and not giving it"
William Arthur Ward

"When someone hears your thank you, he feels that you appreciate and appreciate him. You can see it in his eyes and you certainly do not need to say it out loud "
Eleni Mastelli

"Learn to say thank you…
In the morning because you woke up and you are fine…
Why do you have your home, your food, your bed…
In the trials that have come in your life and have made you a better person…
To your parents…
To the people who were by your side when you needed them, to those who rejoiced in your joy…
Say a big thank you to God… »
